Fix Failed iOS 9 jailbreak attempts

Here are some useful troubleshooting tips if you are unable to successfully jailbreak iOS 9 on your iPhone or iPad even after multiple attempts:
  • Turn on Airplane mode and re-jailbreak your iOS device
  • Alternatively, try rebooting both your iOS device and the computer. Then try to jailbreak again.
  • As a last resort, you could try the restore feature in Pangu to revert back to original iOS 9 settings and then re-jailbreak it.
Note: It is imperative that you disable passcode, Touch ID and Find My iPhone features before attempting to jailbreak iOS 9 on your device.
OTA update problems
Over-the-air (OTA) updates have known issues with jailbreak tools and it is no different with the newly released Pangu 9 jailbreak. Hence, it is advisable to restore the device to the latest iOS 9 iteration, iOS 9.0.2, before trying to rejailbreak the same.
Settings app inaccessible in iOS 9 jailbreak tweaks
The Preference Loader jailbreak utility is not yet compatible with iOS 9 and hence access to the Settings app will be missing in all those jailbreak tweaks and apps that are built for iOS 9. It is imperative to install the latest Preference Loader update from Cydia to fix this issue.
/usr/libexc/cydia/cydo error (2) error
Restoring your iOS device to the latest iOS 9 firmware (iOS 9.0.2) via iTunes and then re-jailbreaking it, seems to be the only viable fix for this error, at the moment.
Cydia app not showing up
If Cydia app is not showing up after jailbreaking your iOS device with Pangu 9, just launch the Photos app, exit the app and then run the Pangu app again. You need to grant access for appropriate permissions when prompted. The Cydia app should now appear on your iPhone/iPad Home Screen.
Cydia crash
Some random instances of Cydia crashing after the device is successfully jailbroken with Pangu 9 on iOS 9 has come to light through recent user posts on online support forums and social networking sites. This issue can be quick-fixed by just doing a soft-reset via Settings > General > Reset by selecting the option: 'Erase All Content and Settings'.
If the issue persists, try performing a clean install or restore of iOS 9.0.2 via iTunes, before you re-attempt jailbreaking your device with Pangu 9.
